Pita Bread Sandwich is a tasty wholesome meal. Need not have all the ingredients mentioned in this recipe. You can use cream cheese instead of Hummus or you can use Green Capsicum instead of Red and Yellow Pepper, and so on.
Time Required: 25 Minutes
For the filling:
¼ Cup Hummus
1 Cube Processed Cheese, Garted
1 Tomato, De-seeded and chopped
Few Jalapenos Pickle
Few Olives, Chopped
¼ Cup Red and Yellow Pepper slices
¼ Cup Ice Berg Lettuce strips
¼ Cup Diced Cucumber
1tbsp Olive Oil
Chili Powder to taste
Few sprigs Coriander leaves, Chopped finely
Salt to taste
Mix all the ingredients except for Hummus and Ketchup for the filling and keep it aside.
Cut the Pita Bread into two and add a table spoon of Hummus. Fill the Pita Bread with the filling.
Grill and serve with Tomato Ketchup.
