Mozzarella: This variety is soft and is used widely to top Pizzas. The cheese melts to form an elastic mesh on the toppings and tastes great.
Gouda: This tastes buttery and has a yellow wax rind. You can cook as well as serve slices. You can store for a long time in the refrigerator.
Processed Cheese: This is very popular as it can be added to anything. They can also be flavored with garlic, herbs, and pepper.
Cheddar: This variety is from UK and the cheese is hard and can taste from milk to nutty. You can store for a long time in the refrigerator. This can be used in sandwiches and in cooking.
Parmesan: This variety is from Italy. The texture is grainy and crumbles easily. It is sharp and spicy. This makes its way on the market shelf after aging for two to three years. It can be stored for long periods. This is added to Pasta and Rice dishes.
