Dal Raitha

Dal Raitha is cooked lentils in curds.  Tastes good with Indian bread.

Serves: 4

Dal Raitha

Ingredients:
2 Cup cooked Tuvar dal/Togaribele/Red gram split
2 Cups Curds/Yoghurt
1 small Onion, Chopped finely
2 tbsp Coriander Leaves. Chopped finely
2 Green Chilies, Chopped finely
Few Curry leaves
2 tsp Oil
½ tsp Mustard Seeds
¼ tsp Turmeric Powder
Salt to taste

Method:
In a mixing bowl mix Tuvar dal, Curds, Onion, Coriander leaves, Green Chilies and Salt.  Heat Oil and add Mustard Seeds and when it splutters, add Turmeric powder.  Add this to the curd mixture and mix well and serve Dal Raitha with Phulka or Paratha.
