Ragi Dosa

Crepes prepared using finger millet flour.

Time Required: 20 Minutes + Soaking time and Fermentation time
Serves: 4

Ragi Dosa

Ingredients:
½ Cup Urad Dal/Split Black Gram
1½ Cup Ragi Hittu/Nachni/Finger Millet flour
Salt to taste

Method:
Soak Urad Dal for 3 to 4 hours.  Grind to a batter and add the Ragi Hittu and mix well.  Add water if the batter is too thick.  Keep it aside for 5 to 6 hours.

Add Salt to the batter and mix well.  Heat a griddle and pour a spoonful of the batter over it and spread it with the spoon in concentric circle.  Add a teaspoon of oil all over it and roast it on both the sides.  Serve with Butter, Chutney and Alu Bhaji.
