I was delighted to find Sugar snap peas in the grocery store and they are so easy to use. The whole pod can be eaten. They are sweet and crisp. You can add them to salads or eat them as is or add a bit of seasoning and stir-fry them.
Ingredients:
2 Cups of Sugar Snap Peas
1 tsp Oil
2 tsp Sesame seeds
1 tsp Saunf / Aniseed
1 tsp Ginger – Garlic Paste
Pepper for seasoning
Method:
Heat Oil, add Aniseed, Sesame seeds, when they splutter, add Ginger Garlic paste. Saute for a minute.
Add Snap Peas and toss.
Cover and cook for a minute.
Remove to a serving dish.
Serve hot with plain Rice, Roti, or toast.
