Raw Banana Fry is very easy to make for a tasty accompaniment to serve with Indian Bread or with Rice.

3 Raw Banana, Peeled and diced
3 tbsp Oil
1tsp Urad Dal / Split Black Gram Dal
1tsp Mustard Seeds
A pinch of Hing / Asafoetida
Few Curry leaves
½ tsp Turmeric Powder
2tsp Chili Powder
2tsp Coriander Powder
2tsp Aamchur Powder
2 Dry Red Chilies
Few sprigs Coriander leaves, chopped for garnishing
Salt to taste
Heat Oil and add Mustard Seeds and Urad Dal. When the Urad Dal turns pink, add Turmeric Powder, and Hing.
Add Curry leaves and Red Chilies.
Add Banana and stir. Keep cooking until Banana is soft. You can close the vessel and cook. Stir every two minutes.
Add Chili Powder, Coriander Powder, Aamchur Powder, and Salt and mix well. Close the vessel again and cook.
Add Coriander leaves and mix.
Remove Raw Banana Fry to a serving dish and serve hot Raw Banana Fry with Indian Bread or Rice and Saru / Rasam.
