Alasande Palya is a side dish prepared using Chinese Long Beans. This is a very common dish prepared in Mysore and Bangalore region. Tastes very good with Rice and Rasam.

Remove Alasande Palya to a serving bowl and serve with your choice of Indian Bread or with Rice and Saru/Rasam.
Another method of preparing palya using Alasande is to grind Red Chilies, Coconut, Mustard, and Turmeric Powder. Add this to the seasoning and fry for a minute. Next add the Alasande and the rest of the ingredients and water. Cook until tender.
