Sol Kadhi is a refreshing drink prepared using Kokum fruit and buttermilk.
Time Required: 10 Minutes + Soaking time
2 Cups Coconut Milk
1 Cup Water
4 – 5 Kokum / Aamsol, soaked in water
1 tsp Jeera / Cumin Seeds
1 Green Chili
1/2 tsp Sugar
2 Cloves Garlic
1 Small piece Ginger
Few sprigs Coriander leaves, chopped
Salt to taste
Crush Kokum and keep aside. Grind Green chili, Garlic, Ginger, and Cumin seeds to a paste. In a bowl take Coconut milk and add water and the Kokum paste. Sieve and add water. Add Sugar and Salt and mix well. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
