Besan Chila is known as Puda in Gujrati. This is healthy and tasty dish prepared using Gram flour.
Time Required: 20 Minutes
2 Cups Gram Flour
1 Onion or ½ Cup chopped Spring Onion (leaves and bulb)
¼ Cup Chopped Coriander Leaves
2 tsp Chili Powder
1tsp Jeera Cumin Powder or whole Jeera / Cumin Seeds
1tsp Olive oil or any other vegetable refined oil
1tsp Turmeric Powder
1/2 tsp Pepper Powder
Little Asafoetida / Hing
Salt to taste
Mix all the ingredients together with water. The consistency should be like Dosa batter.
Heat griddle and pour a spoonful of this mixture and spread to form a circle.
Sprinkle some Oil and flip and cook again. Remove to a serving plate.
Serve hot with your choice of Chutney, Chutney Powder, Tomato Ketchup, and Butter.
