Mysore Pak the dessert that was invented in Mysuru palace is well known and enjoyed across borders. Pak means “Paaka” (sugar syrup). Guru sweets still fly the flag of their family heritage.
Now, a new abode for this most sought after sweet has found a place at the foothills of Chamundi Hills known as World of Mysore Pak. Indeed a world!, you get around 10 varieties of Mysore Pak and as you taste each one of them you release a palate unknown.
The Mysore Pak varieties offered are carrot, roasted almond, kaju/cashew nuts, anjeer/fig, mango, milk, jaggery, jaggery millet, millet, and the special mysore pak. I recommend the Fig and Carrot Mysuru Pak.
The World of Mysore Pak is spread over 8,000 sq. feet. The center of the shopping hall is lined with varieties of Mysore Pak, snacks, and savouries.

After having visited chocolate, doughnuts, soft drinks, ice cream factories, it was great to see the making of Mysore Pak in large scale. A glass partition allows us to see the various stages of making the Mysore Pak.
