Crispy melting home-made butter cookies is a favorite with the hungry child.
Cookie Cooking Method: Bread Crumb method
Time Required: 1 hour
100gms Maida / Refined flour
60gms Chilled Butter
1tsp Milk Powder
1 pinch Baking Powder
100gms Sugar Powder
Chilled Milk as required
Sieve Maida, Baking Powder, and Milk Powder in a bowl. Add Butter blocks into it.
Pick Butter and Maida and rub them in between your Palms. Keep repeating until all the Butter has melted. The Maida mixture starts getting the texture like bread crumbs.
To this add Sugar Powder and using a teaspoon of Milk at a time bind the mixture to a dough.
Grease a baking tray.
Take a tablespoon of dough and roll into a ball. Place it on the greased tray keeping enough space around.
Preheat the oven.
Bake for 25 minutes at 160 degrees.
