Whole Okra cooked with spices, yogurt and gram flour.
Time Required: 20 Minutes
15 Bhindi / Okra / Lady’s Finger
3tbsp Besan / Gram Flour
5tbsp Curds / Yogurt
Chopped Coriander leaves for garnishing
Salt to taste
For the filling:
2tsp Coriander Powder
2tsp Pomegranate Seeds Powder
1tsp Chili Powder
½ tsp Turmeric Powder
1tsp Garam Masala Powder
¼ tsp Salt
Wash and dry Bhindi. Slit in the middle up to the other side.
Mix the ingredients for filling and fill the Bhindi with this mixture. Heat 4bsp Oil and add the Bhindi and shallow fry until soft.
In another kadai / pan heat 1tbsp Oil and add Gram Flour and fry for a minute, add Curds and mix well and cook for another minute stirring continuously. If the mixture is too thick add more curds.
