Bhendekayi Palya is a side dish prepared using Lady’s Finger/Okra.

1 Big Onion
1tsp Chili Powder
1tsp Mustard Seeds
1/4tsp Turmeric Powder
Salt to taste
Chop Bhindi, Onion and Tomatoes. Heat a tbsp of Oil in a kadai/pan and fry the Bhindi pieces and keep it aside.
Heat another tbsp of Oil and add the Mustard Seeds and when they start to splutter, add Turmeric Powder and the Onions and fry until they turn translucent. Now, add Tomatoes and cook for 2 to 3 minutes continuously stirring.
Add Chili Powder, Salt and the fried Bhindi and mix well.
Remove to a serving dish and serve with your choice of Indian Bread or plain Rice.
