Curry / Sambar is known as Huli in Kannada. This powder is added to prepare a curry with vegetables and coconut known as ”Huli”.
Time Required: 20 Minutes
2 Cups Coriander Seeds
3 Cups Dry Red Chilies (1 Cup Byadagi + 2 Cup Guntur)
1 Cup Bengal Gram/Channa Dal
1 Cup Urad Dal/Black Gram split
1″ long 3 pieces of Dalchini/Cinnamon
1tbsp Menthya / Methi / Fenugreek Seeds
10 – 12 Peppercorns
1½ Cup Grated Dry Coconut
Fry the ingredients in Oil separately. Grind these to a powder and store in a dry airtight container.
