Hummus is a spread or dip prepared using Chik peas.
Time Required: 10 Minutes + Soaking time
1 Cup Soaked and Boiled Chik Peas
Juice of 2 Lemons
Few sprigs of Parsely
3 Garlic Pods
2 – 2 ½ tsp Tahini paste
2 – 2 ½ tsp Olive Oil
Few pinches of Sumac / Red Chili Powder
Salt to taste
Grind Chik Peas, Lemon Juice, Garlic, Tahini, Parsley, and Salt to a paste. Remove to a serving dish.
Garnish with Olive Oil and Red Chili Powder and serve with Lavash, Pita Bread, or Bread Stick.
