Time Required: 30 Minutes
1 Raw Jackfruit
Oil for deep frying
1tsp Turmeric Powder
Mix Salt, Turmeric Powder and water and keep it aside.
Oil the knife and your hands before cutting the Jackfruit. Remove the middle part and remove the segments outs. Remove the seed and cut into strips.
Heat Oil and add the Jackfruit strips. Stir. When the sizzling stops, reduce the heat and add a teaspoon of Turmeric water and close the pan with a lid. Remove the lid after the sizzling stops.
Fry until crisp and remove on kitchen towel.
If needed sprinkle Salt and Chili Powder and mix well.
Store Halasinakayi Sonte – Raw Jackfruit Chips in airtight containers. Serve when required with cutting Chai / Tea.
