A tasty snack prepared using Sweet Potato and Chik peas laced with spices and Lemon juice.

Time Required: 30 Minutes + Soaking Time
2 five inch piece Sweet Potato
1 Cup Channa/Chik peas
1tsp Chaat Masala Powder
½ tsp Saunf/Aniseed Powdered
1 Onion, Chopped finely
2 – 3 Green Chilies, Chopped finely
Juice of ½ Lemon
Chopped Coriander leaves for garnishing
Kala Namak/Black Salt for taste
Salt for taste
Soak Channa for 4 hours and boil with Salt. Sieve and keep aside. Boil Sweet Potatoes, peel and chop into big pieces.
In a mixing bowl mix Sweet Potatoes, Channa, Green Chilies, Onions, Chaat Masala, Saunf Powder, Salt, Black Salt and Lemon Juice. Serve Sweet Potato and Channa Chaat garnished with Coriander leaves.
