4 Cups Murmura / Kadalepuri / Puffed Rice
1 Boiled Potato, Diced
1 or 2 Green Chilies, Chopped
1 tbsp Fresh Coconut slices
1 Tomato, Chopped
1 Onion, Chopped
1 tsp Chopped Ginger
1/2 Cup Chopped and peeled Cucumber
Few sprigs Coriander leaves, Chopped
2 tbsp Tamarind pulp or Juice of half Lemon Juice or 1 tsp Aamchur Powder
1/4 tsp Black Salt
1 tsp Roasted Jeera Powder
1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
1 tsp Chaat Masala Powder
1/2 tsp Chili Powder
1/2 Cup Sev Mixture (Sev, Groundnut, Fried Dal, and so on mixed together)
1/2 Cup Plain Nylon Sev
1 tbsp Roasted Green Chilies
1 or 2 tbsp Mustard Oil or Oil from Mango Pickle
Salt to taste
In a mixing bowl, add all the dry items first.
Add the vegetables, Oil, and Tamarind paste. Mix well.
Remove to serving dishes and serve immediately.
