Grilled Italian breads rubbed with garlic, topped with Tomatoes, and drizzled with Olive Oil is a very popular and tasty starter.
Time Required: 30 Minutes
1 loaf Bread, cut into 1/2-inch slices
6 cloves Garlic, crushed
2tbsp Olive oil
5 Tomatoes, Seeded and chopped
2 Onions , Chopped finely
1 Cup Mozzarella Cheese, Grated or Cottage Cheese, Diced
Few sprigs of Fresh basil, Shredded
Salt and pepper
Grill the bread slices.
Rub the bread with the crushed Garlic. Mix Tomatoes, Onion, Mozzarella Cheese, Basil, Green Chilies, Salt in a mixing bowl.
Spoon the mixture on the bread slices. Drizzle Olive Oil over them. Grill the topped slices again until the cheese melts.
Remove and sprinkle with black pepper powder and serve with soup.
