Dry Fruit Chikki are dry fruit squares prepared using nuts, sugar, and honey.
Time Required: 30 Minutes
1 Cup Almonds
2 tbsp Pistachios
1 Cup Cashew nuts
3/4 Cup Sugar
1/4 Cup Honey
Chop Pistachios into tiny pieces. Cut Almonds into two and dry roast for a minute.
Cut Cashew nuts into two and dry roast for a minute.
Heat a thick-bottomed pan and add Sugar.
Let it melt.
It will form clumps, don’t worry, it will all melt as you heat further on medium flame.
It will turn honey color.
Mix. Bubbles will form.
Add Almonds and Cashew nuts. Mix well.
Immediately remove to a plate lined with butter paper. Sprinkle Pistachios and using a rolling pin, roll it.
Using a knife cut the Dry Fruit Chikki into desired shape. Remove from paper, else the paper will stick to the Chikki.
Arrange in a serving plate.
Store in an airtight container.
