A sweet prepared using aralu, which is type of puffed rice. This is prepared during all auspicious occasions like Upanayana, Marriage, and so on.
Time Required: 30 Minutes
1 Cup Aralu
1 Cup Powdered Jaggery
1tsp Ghee / Clarified butter
Warm Aralu. Add 1/2 cup water to the Jaggery and cook until it forms a thick syrup. To check for the right consistency, put a bit of the syrup in water, it should sink to the bottom and thicken. Add Ghee to the syrup. Add Aralu and mix well. When it is hot tie into balls.
