A sweet, sour and spicy tomato chutney. This recipe was part of the course conducted by CFTRI, Mysore.
Time Required: 20 Minutes
2 Cups Tomato Puree
1 Cup Sugar
1tbsp Red Chili Flakes or 5 Whole Red Chilies
1 Onion, Chopped finely
Salt to taste
In a thick bottomed pan add all the ingredients and cook until the mixture becomes thick. Stir continuously. Remove from heat and let it cool. Store in dry airtight containers.
