Ample availability of Strawberries in the market inspired me to prepare this chutney. Hope you enjoy this as much as I did!
Time Required: 15 Minutes
15 – 20 Strawberries, cleaned and hulled
1tbsp Roasted Red Chili Flakes
¼ Cup Sugar
1tsp Saunf / Aniseed
1tsp Mustard Seeds
Salt to taste
Chop Strawberries into small pieces. Heat Oil, add Mustard Seeds and when they splutter, add Saunf, add Strawberries and sauté for a minute.
Add ½ cup Water and let it cook.
Add Sugar, Salt, and Chili Flakes.
Stir and add ½ cup water and let it cook for 3 minutes.
Remove to a bowl and serve with Indian Bread, Toast, Dosa, or Kakra.
