Imli Saunth Chutney is prepared using Tamarind and Ginger. It is a sweet and sour chutney, which is used in prepared all kinds of Chaats. This is the main ingredient that makes Chaats so very special and tasty! Another sweet chutney without Ginger is also used while prepared Chaats.

½ tsp Dry Ginger Powder
1tsp Red Chili Powder
½ tsp Black Rock Salt
½ tsp Chaat Garam Masala
Roasted Cumin Seeds Powder
Soak Tamarind and remove the pulp either by squeezing by hand or if it is seedless, in a food processor.
Mix all the other ingredients to it and cook for 6 – 8 minutes.
Let it cool.
Remove to an airtight jar and store.
