A crepe prepared using Cucumber and Rice.
Time Required: 20 Minutes + Soaking Time
1 Cup Rice
1 Cup Coconut
4 Green Chilies
½ tsp Turmeric Powder
Oil for roasting
Salt to taste
Soak Rice for 3 to 4 hours. Peel and chop Cucumber into big slices. Sieve the Rice and grind it along with Cucumber, Coconut, Green chilies, Turmeric Powder and Salt to a batter. Heat and grease a griddle and pour a ladleful of batter and spread in a concentric circle. Sprinkle Oil and roast on both sides. Serve hot with Chutney.

one doubt in this recipe for cucumber dose- you have added cocunut in the items required for the same.. however, in the process- there is no mention of how to use the same.. do you grind it with rice, cucumber etc or was the cocunut added for the chutney part? can you pl let me know.. thanks Shantha

wow , i finally found this recipe. i’ve been looking for a long long time. i loved cucumber dosa my firend’s mom made it but havent seen her in years.

Thank you for visiting. Most of the recipes found in this website can be converted to low calorie by doing away with coconut and using less oil for roasting.
