Law’s waterfalls is situated on Coonoor Mettupalyam highway. Beautiful, no doubt, but very dangerous for people standing on the bridge to view the waterfalls.
Heavy traffic on the highway makes it almost impossible to see and photograph the waterfalls. Be extremely careful if you visit the waterfalls especially with toddlers.
The waterfalls is named after Col. Law a British officer.
The lush green surrounding the waterfalls and the sound of the roaring waterfalls is worth spending 30 minutes here.
The water falls from 180 feet height in cascades. It is best when it rains and it would be just a trickle during summer.
Do not venture into the water as it can be slippery and there is a steep fall below the bridge.
Enjoy, take pictures, and protect yourselves.
Will the Tamil nadu tourism department do something for the safety of the visitors?
