Few decades back, the living rooms in homes would be decorated with photographs of gods and goddesses and also black and white pictures of family members in groups or as couples. The huge halls with teak wood beams would look so good with so much of history hanging on them.

Indian society is know as “Elephant society”, this is because parents are always protecting the children for many many years. When I encountered this herd of elephants in the forests of Bandipur, I could relate to the way the female elephants were protecting their two young ones. The sighting lasted for 20 minutes.
