Thambittu

This sweet is prepared using fried gram flour and is prepared on Nagara Panchami festival.
Time Required: 15 Minutes
Ingredients:
1 Cup Hurigadale Powder / Fried Gram Flour
1 Cup Grated Jaggery
1/2 Cup Ghee / Clarified Butter
1/4 Cup Grated Dry Coconut
1tbsp Roasted Sesame Seeds or Poppy Seeds
Method:
In a thick-bottomed pan add 1/4 cup water with Jaggery and keep on flame. Let the Jaggery melt. Seive and again keep it on flame and add ghee to it and mix. Boil for a minute or two. Remove from flame and add all the other ingredients to it and mix well. Either pour the mixture on a greased tray and cut into desired shapes or tie into laddoos.
