A side dish prepared using Cucumber.
Time Required: 20 Minutes
2 Green Chilies, Chopped finely
Few curry leaves
2tbsp Grated Fresh Coconut
1tsp Kadalebele / Channa Dal / Bengal Gram
1tsp Uddinabele / Urad Dal / Split Black Gram
1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
1tsp Jaggery (Optional)
Salt to taste
Dice Cucumber and keep aside. Heat Oil in a pan and add Kadalebele, Uddinabele and when they turn pink, add Mustard Seeds and when they splutter add Curry leaves, Green Chilies and Cucumber and stir. Add Salt, Jaggery and half cup water and close the vessel and cook on low flame for 2 minutes. Remove the lid and stir. Add Cucumber and mix well. Remove to a serving dish and serve.
