Minced vegetables filled in wonton wrappers are shaped into money bags and deep fried. Delicious!
Time Required: 30 Minutes
½ Cup Cabbage, Chopped finely
½ Cup Capsicum, Chopped finely
½ Cup Carrot, Chopped finely
Few sprigs Spring Onion, Chopped finely
Few bulbs of Spring Onion, Chopped finely
1tbsp Cream Cheese
3 pods Garlic, Chopped finely
1” Ginger, Julienne
Salt and Pepper to taste
Few Coriander roots, Chopped finely
Few sheets of Wonton
2tbsp of Maida / Refined flour mixed in 3 or 4 tbsp water
Heat Oil, add Garlic, Ginger, Spring Onion Bulbs and saute for a minute. Add Carrot and stir.
Add Cabbage, Capsicum, and Coriander roots and stir fry for a minute.
Add Cream Cheese, Salt, and Pepper. Mix well.
Cut the Wonton sheets into 4 square pieces. Put a spoonful of mixture in the middle.
Bring together the sides of the sheets to form the shape of a money bag.
Seal the middle using the flour paste.
Deep fry till golden brown.
