Aromatic rose petals are preserved in Sugar and used as an accompaniment with Indian Bread and in Paan.
2 Cups Aromatic Rose Petals (I have used Paneer Rose)
3/4 Cup Sugar
2 tbsp Honey
Clean the Rose Petals.
In a dry jar arrange a layer of Petals and over it a layer of Sugar and again a layer of Rose Petals.
Repeat for all the Petals and store for 21 days.
After 21 days mix it well. The Rose Petals would have become soft and will blend with the sugar syrup to a jam consistency, which can be spread on Bread toast or Chapathi. Serve a spoon of Gulcan along with Vanilla Ice Cream. It is also popularly used in paans (stuffed betel leaves) in India.
This can be used to treat Acidity and also relieves you from extreme Thirstiness.
