Kathal Mutter Vada Pav – Jackfruit Peas Sandwich Recipe – Kathal Matar Vada Pav

Kathal Mutter Vada Pav is Raw Jackfruit patties tucked in a Pav / Indian bread smeared with two kinds of chutney is sure to be a super hit with your kids as an evening snack.

Time Required: 40 Minutes

Ingredients:
For the Vada:
1 Cup cooked and mashed Kathal / Raw Jackfruit
1 Cup cooked and mashed Mutter / Peas
Few sprigs Coriander leaves, Chopped finely
1 Potato cooked, peeled, and mashed
1 – 2 tsp Green Chili paste
2tbsp Corn flour
Oil for deep frying
Salt to taste

For Assembling:
Few Pav Bread
Pudina / Mint Chutney
Garlic Chutney or Chutney Powder
Butter for toasting

Method:
Mix all the ingredients for the Vada except for the Oil.

Shape into Vadas and deep fry until done.

Assembling:
Cut the Pav into half horizontally, and roast them for few seconds using Butter.

On one part smear a tsp of Mint Chutney and on the other smear Garlic Chutney.

Now sandwich a Vada between the two Pav pieces and gently press it by hand.

Serve with Sweet Chutney.
