Bonda Soup Recipe – Medhu Vada in Soup – Black Lentil Fritter in Lentil Soup

Bonda Soup

Bonda Soup is a delicacy served only in Bangalore and Mysore restaurants.  If the Vadas are served laced with spicy tangy curds as Dahi Bhallas in North India, the Vadas here are drowned in a spicy tangy Lentil soup. Sluurrrp!

Cuisine: South Karnataka

Time required: 30 Minutes + Soaking and Grinding time

Ingredients:
4 Bowls Udupi Thovve / Lentil Soup / Udupi Dal
4 Round Medhu Vada

Method:
In four bowls, add one Vada each.

Pour hot Tovve over it.

Let it soak for a minute before serving.
