Ranjaka

Chutney prepared using fresh Red Chilies.  Ranjaka can be stored for more than a year.

Time Required: 15 Minutes

Ingredients:
40 Fresh Red Chilies
2 tsp Fried and Powdered Methi (Fenugreek) Seeds
Few pieces of Hing / Asafoetida
Salt to taste

Method:
Grind all the ingredients together to a smooth paste. Preserve in airtight glass jars. This chutney can be preserved for more than 6 months and lasts longer if stored in the refrigerator.

Remove small quantity of chutney in a bowl and add Lemon Juice and mix well. Serve with Bhakri/Jower Roti and Butter.
