Paneer Pakoda

Fritters prepared using Cottage Cheese.

Time Required: 20 Minutes
Serves: 4

Ingredients:
250gms Paneer/Cottage Cheese
1 Cup Besan/Gram Flour
1tsp Garam Masala
½ tsp Kala Namak/Black Salt
½ tsp Aamchur powder/Dry Mango Powder
A pinch of Ajwain/Carom Seeds
A pinch of Cooking Soda
Oil for deep-frying
Salt to taste

Method:
Cut Paneer into cubes and keep aside. Mix Gram Flour, Garam Masala, Black Salt, Aamchur Powder, Ajwain, Soda and Salt with water to a batter. Ensure that the batter is not too very thin. Dip the Paneer cubes in the batter and deep fry until they turn brown. Serve with Pudina/Mint Chutney and Tomato Ketchup.
