Glazed Nendrabale – Glazed Banana Recipe – Pazham nurukku – Nendrapazham sharkara ittadu

Glazed Nendrabale

This dish is very simple to make.  It is prepared using Kerala Banana, Clarified Butter and Sugar.

Time Required: 10 Minutes

Ingredients:
2 Ripe Nendrabale / Kerala Banana
4 tbsp Sugar or Jaggery
2 – 3 tbsp Ghee / Clarified Butter
Cardamom powder

Method:
Peel Bananas and cut into roundels or any desired shape. Melt Ghee in a non stick pan. Add the Banana roundels and saute’ for 20 seconds.

Add Sugar and 1tbsp water and saute’ for a minute.

Flip the roundels and saute for another minute.  Sprinkle some Cardamom powder.

Remove to a serving dish.

Serve with cut fresh fruits or ice cream.
