Hurigadale Chutney Pudi

Hurigadale Chutney Pudi is a chutney powder prepared using fried gram. This is usually served with most of the South Indian Breakfast dishes.

Time Required: 20 Minutes

Ingredients:
1 Cup Hurigadale/Fried Gram/Channa/Dalia
1/2 Cup Dry Coconut
Little Tamarind
1tsp Hing
½ Cup Red Chilies
1tsp Oil
Salt to taste

 Method:
Heat Oil and add Hing, Tamarind and Red Chilies and stir for 2 minutes.  Switch off the heat and add Fried Gram and stir for few seconds.  Let it cool.  Grind Fried Gram, Hing, Red Chilies, Tamarind and Salt to a powder.

Store in airtight jars.  Serve Hurigadale Chutney Pudi with Dosa or Idli.
