Ottinene Beach is situated in Kundapur taluk, Udupi district. This stretch of the beach is beautiful with waves hitting rocky hills. The palms standing tall and swaying to the breeze seems to be calming the sea. The locals call this beach as Ottinenne.

You can see the Ottinene Sunset Point from the beach.

Ottinene is a remarkable beach as River Sumana makes a U-turn and joins the Arabian sea at this place. In this estuary a good swimmer used to the sea can wade into the river water and get into the sea. Be cautious otherwise to get into the water. Saw fishermen busy at the estuary, which is an Eco-spot abundant in freshwater and sea fish. Many birds are also attracted to this area to catch a meal.

A long walk is rejuvenating and experiencing the sunset is extremely memorable. A place you would like to return to again and again.
