A trip to Maravanthe, coastal Karnataka was full of surprises. We went on a boat trip to an island that was submerged during the monsoons with great anticipation to spot Dolphins. We spotted only two of them. Later, the birds we spotted compensated for Dolphins not keeping the date with us.
Though I knew that Maravanthe was a haven for birds, I never thought that I would come up with this exhaustive list of bird spotting. Please click on image to enlarge.
