Methi Chaman

Methi Chaman is a side dish prepared using Cottage cheese and Fenugreek leaves.

Time Required: 30 Minutes

Ingredients:
1 big bunch Methi (Fenugreek) leaves, cleaned and chopped
1 bowl Paneer (Cottage cheese) cubes
3 Tomatoes, Chopped finely
1 big Onion, Chopped finely
3 – 4 Garlic pods, Chopped finely
2tbsp Oil
1 tsp Jeera (Cumin seeds)
2 tsp Chili Powder
1 tsp Jeera Powder
1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
Chopped Coriander leaves for garnishing
Salt to taste

Method:
Heat Oil, add Jeera and then Garlic. Saute for a minute.

Add Onions and stir-fry until the Onions are translucent.

Add Methi and stir-fry for two minutes.

Add Tomatoes, Chili and Jeera Powder and again cook for two to three minutes.

Add Paneer and Garam Masala and gently toss.

Add Salt and mix well.

Garnish with Coriander leaves and serve hot Methi Chaman with your choice of Indian Bread.
