Here is a simple sweet dish, which has elements of goodness in it for this festive season.
Ingredients:
1 cup Hesarittu / Moong dal powder / Split Green Gram powder
1 cup Sugar
1/2 cup desiccated Coconut (optional)
1/2 cup Ghee / clarified butter
Little Cardamom powder
Method:
Mix Moong dal flour and Coconut.
Heat Ghee in a thick-bottomed pan and add the mixture. Cook until you get an aroma. Remove from heat and add Cardamom and Sugar and mix well.
Tie into balls. Let it cool and store in airtight container.
