Pepper Sarina Pudi – Pepper Rasam Powder Recipe

Pepper Rasam Powder

Pepper Sarina Pudi is also known as Rasam Powder, this masala powder is used to prepare a lentil based accompaniment with Rice called Menasina / Pepper Saaru/Rasam.

Time Required: 25 Minutes

Ingredients:
1/2 Cup Bengal Gram or Tuvar Dal / Split Pigeon Pea
1tbsp Cup Urad Dal (Black Gram split)
2tbsp  Peppercorns
1/4 tsp Hing(Asafoetida)
1 Dry Red Chilies
1 Sprig Dry Curry Leaves
1tsp Coriander Seeds
1/2″ Turmeric Root

Method:
Fry the ingredients separately using little Oil. Grind together to a powder and store in airtight containers.
