Kaudiyala is situated 37 Km from Rishikesh and it is famous for white water rafting on the Ganges. The flow of Ganges is glorious here. You can see many young people camping here waiting impatiently to raft on the rapids of the Ganges.
We had breakfast at GMVN rafting camp in Kaudiyala overlooking the valley with the Ganges bouncing off the rocks with high speed. The white beaches along the river were tempting us to sink our feet into the fine sand. But limited time scurried us back to the vehicle to continue our journey to Badrinath.
Kaudiyala is at an altitude of 480 meters above sea level. It is part of the lower Himalayan range. The best time to raft is during summer.
It is a paradise and most sought after place for adventure and nature lovers.
