Kalapathar Beach

If you want an example of a breath-taking beach, it is Kalapathar Beach – Havelock Island.

Kalapathar means Black Rocks and an adjoining village is also known as Kalapathar.

Emerald shallow water lap on to black rocks on the sea bed. The rocks are visible from the crystal clear water.

This remote small beach away from noisy crowd has silver sand and amazing views of the ocean. The tropical forests add to the bliss.

On the way to Kalapathar beach we spotted beautiful birds in all colors. Scarlet Minivet, Blue Rock Thrush, Magpie Robin, Drongo, and so on.
