Horanadu is a pilgrimage center situated in Chikkamagalur district of Karnataka. Nestled in the lap of Western Ghats, the presiding deity is Annapoorneshwari / Goddess of food.

The idol of the goddess is made of gold and was installed by the Adi Shankaracharya Mutt in 1973. The idol is in standing position with four hands.

Food is served to all devotees who throng the temple.  Devotees offer Rice to the goddess, which is used to prepare the daily food.  The food is served free of cost of all the devotees as prasada / blessed food.  It is believed that those who pray here will never face scarcity of food.
