Hanumanagundi Waterfalls

Hanumanagundi Waterfalls figured on the top of  our must visit list during our travel to Kudremukh National Park located in Chikkamagaluru district of Karnataka.

Also known as Soothanabbe falls, it is located in the midst of dense rain forest.

The silence of the forest is broken by the deafening sound of water cascading from a height of 30 meters (100 feet) on to the rocks.

To view this spectacular waterfalls, you will have to trek down 400 steps.

Every step you take is worth it when you see the white sheath of water falling forcefully from the hillock to again silently tumble into the hills to join larger rivers.
