Birds of Masinagudi

Malabar Hornbill

Masinagudi hills have always fascinated me.  We have passed the tiny town many times on our way to Ooty and many a time have driven there for a day outing to look at the majestic hills, flora, and fauna.  The bird life in this region is fascinating.  We stayed there for few days to explore more of this region.  Everyday we woke up to the bird calls and Deer walking around freely near the rooms.  The bird life we sighted during the time spent in Masinagudi is never to be forgotten.
