As we waited for the signal to turn green at South End Circle, Bengaluru, I noticed a girl about 7 years on the footpath deeply concentrating on assembling a toy and pressing a lever to test whether it moves properly and placing it in an empty cardboard box for her brothers to sell them to customers in vehicles waiting at the signal. She was working with precision, and not once distracted from her work! Sigh, if only education could reach her!
