Today is Vijayadashami, the final day of Dasara / Navratri festivities. The festival culminates in a grand manner with thousands attending the famous Dasara procession at Mysuru. Dignitaries and people around India and abroad grace the occassion for a glimpse of the spectacle. This is a perfect platform to showcase the rich cultural and heritage of Karnataka state.
Amba Vilas Palace also known as Mysore Palace is the starting point of the procession. The highlight of the procession is the golden Howdah on a decorated elephant.The procession is followed by Torch light parade also known as Panju kavayatu and the newly introduced spectacular drone show. The latest technology over a heritage and beautiful city.
