Green Hummus Recipe

Green Hummus

Healthy and a good looking recipe, Green Hummus is packed with nutrition and taste to soothe both the body and the soul.
 
Time required: 20 minutes + soaking time
 
 
Ingredients:
1 Cup fresh cooked Green Chickpea or  soaked and cooked Chickpea
1/2 Cup chopped Chives
1/2 Cup chopped Coriander leaves
1/4 Cup chopped Holy Basil leaves
1/4 Cup chopped Basil leaves
1/4 Cup toasted Sesame seeds
1/2 Cup chopped Lettuce (optional)
2 – 4 tbsp Avocado oil
4 to 6 Pods Garlic
Black pepper powder to taste
Salt to taste
 
 
Method:
Combine the ingredients except for the Oil and blend to a smooth paste.  Add two tbsp Oil and blend again.
 
 
Remove to a serving bowl and add more Oil if required.
 
 
Serve with Vegetable sticks and Pita Bread.
